Principal Educational Psychologist
Richenda has over two decades of experience in both local authorities and private practice. She discovered her passion for working with children with profound learning difficulties during her teaching career. Armed with a Masters in Developmental and Educational Psychology from Queen's University Belfast, Richenda is skilled in assessment, consultation, and report writing. Her calm and approachable nature quickly puts children at ease. Richenda's expertise spans the intersection of education, psychology and social care.

Andrew Stephens
Educational & Clinical Psychologist
Andrew is a highly qualified psychologist with a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and a Masters from the University of Sydney, who brings exceptional educational and clinical expertise. In 2020, he relocated to the UK, serving as a senior educational psychologist for Essex local authority. Now in independent practice, Andrew specialises in psychoeducational and autism assessments, reflecting his dedication to positively impacting lives. As a fervent advocate for neurodiversity, he champions a person-centred approach, empowering individuals to leverage their strengths for unique paths to success.

Dr Melanie Sehgal
Educational Psychologist
With over a decade of experience as an Educational Psychologist, Melanie has dedicated her career to breaking down barriers in education. Holding a doctorate from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Melanie’s thesis focused on empowering bullied girls through innovative interventions. As an expert in statutory processes, Melanie has contribute to Education, Health, and Care Plans, and served as a tribunal witness. Her systemic approach, employing appreciative inquiry and solution-oriented methods, extends to large-scale projects and innovative group work, ensuring every child's voice is heard.

Dr Izzah Bistamam
Educational Psychologist
With extensive experience as an Educational Psychologist, Izzah is dedicated to ensuring children with special educational needs have the support they need to thrive. Holding a doctorate from University College London, Izzah focuses on understanding the unique challenges faced by children and their families. Her approach involves working closely with parents, schools, and other professionals to assess needs, provide tailored support like staff training and family guidance, and advocate for equitable educational opportunities. Izzah is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children through thoughtful and effective psychological practice.

Dr Callum Urquhart
Educational & Clinical Psychologist
Dr Callum Urquhart is a Clinical and Educational Psychologist with a wealth of experience working with children and adults across the lifespan. He holds a Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology from the University of Sheffield and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Belfast. Callum has worked in various settings including the NHS, Education Authorities, and private practice. He specialises in supporting individuals with specific learning difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions, social, emotional, and mental health issues. Callum’s expertise lies in providing therapeutic interventions, psychological assessments, and expert reports for the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCP) process. He is passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential and is currently the Chair of the Division of Educational and Child Psychology in Northern Ireland.

Nisha Veerd

Nisha adeptly advocates for clients with communication disorders, collaborating with diverse teams and caregivers for optimal case management. With a history of pivotal roles in healthcare and community trusts, she's a trailblazer in developing specialised therapy services and excels in managing intricate cases across varied conditions.

With over three decades dedicated to championing the rights of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Lisa brings unparalleled expertise as a SEN Advocate. Her extensive background encompasses strategic development, policy creation, and navigating the complexities of Local Authority processes and SEN Tribunals. Lisa's proven track record includes over 20 years of meticulously crafting statements and Education, Health and Care Plans. Drawing on her deep understanding of the educational landscape and children's services, Lisa offers insightful consultancy and steadfast support to ensure every child receives the education they deserve.

Melanie Tham
Practice Manager
With over a decade dedicated to refining operations, Melanie boasts a rich history of efficiently managing assessment clinics. Her expertise and knowledge deeply penetrates the Special Educational Needs (SEN) sector. As a qualified counsellor, Melanie has contributed significantly to mental health through counselling roles at NHS IAPT services and Place2Be in schools. Her empathetic approach and extensive network ensure tailored solutions for families and children.
